Submit an estimate request and we’ll contact you to arrange a free in-home visit. We assess your cabinets, discuss your preferences, and present the proposed work and pricing. We don’t generate automatic cabinet estimates online.
Are my cabinets suitable for refinishing?
We assess the cabinet material, existing finish and condition during our visit. Tell us about peeling surfaces, water damage or previous repairs. Some issues may need repair or replacement rather than a new coating.
Is refinishing the same as refacing?
Refinishing changes the finish on existing cabinet surfaces. Refacing generally involves replacing doors and drawer fronts and covering exposed cabinet faces. We’ll clarify which work is included in your refinishing estimate.
What gets finished in the shop?
Our spray shop allows removable components to be finished away from the kitchen. We’ll confirm which pieces will be removed, what work happens on site, and the arrangements for removal and reinstallation.
Can I use my kitchen during the work?
Access may be limited during preparation, masking, spraying and drying. We’ll discuss the sequence of work and what you should plan for before the project begins.
Are cabinet interiors included?
Don’t assume interiors, shelves or drawer boxes are included. We’ll identify the surfaces being finished in your written estimate so the scope is clear before work starts.
Can I change the handles or colour?
Bring your colour ideas and any new hardware you’re considering. Changes to handle positions or hole spacing may require extra preparation. We’ll discuss feasibility and include agreed changes in the scope.
Will the wood grain still show?
The finished appearance depends on the material, grain and preparation. A colour change does not necessarily create a completely flat surface. We’ll discuss the result you can expect from your particular cabinets.
When can I clean and use the cabinets normally?
Drying and full curing are different stages. We’ll provide guidance for the coating used, including handling, cleaning and precautions while the finish cures.
